TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Acceptance of Terms

Golazo (golazo.us) and TennisPools(tennispools.com) are two brands of the same pool-hosting platform (together, "the Service"), operated independently. A registered legal entity for the Service is being formed; these Terms will be updated when filing completes. By accessing or using either site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service between you and the Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Service is an entertainment-focused platform for hosting prediction pools around major sports competitions — soccer tournaments on golazo.us and tennis tournaments on tennispools.com. Users can create or join prediction pools, make picks on match outcomes, and compete with friends and family. Hosting a pool is free for small groups; larger pools pay a hosting fee as described in Section 3. The Service is designed purely for entertainment and social engagement.

3. Fees and Payments

Hosting Fees:

• Pools with 5 or fewer members are free
• Pools with more than 5 members are charged a hosting fee of $2.00 USD per additional member above the free limit
• Hosting fees are paid by the Pool Commissioner — pool members never pay the Service anything
• Hosting fees are payable by the Pool Commissioner after the first round of the tournament ends
• Failure to pay hosting fees within the grace period may result in pool deletion

Commissioner Entry Fees (User-to-User):

• Pool Commissioners may set optional entry fees for their pools
• The Service never holds, settles, or processes pool entry fees or prize money. Members settle among themselves.
• Entry fees and prizes are settled directly between the Pool Commissioner and pool members using external payment methods (Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, etc.)
• The Service is not responsible for any disputes, non-payment, or issues arising from entry fee or prize arrangements between users
• The Service provides tools for Commissioners to track payment status, but does not guarantee or enforce payment collection

The Service is not a gambling platform. The Service does not:

• Facilitate, encourage, or enable betting or wagering of any kind
• Hold, process, or transmit monetary stakes, entry fees, or prize money between users
• Provide odds, spreads, or any gambling-related information
• Connect to or integrate with any gambling or sportsbook services

Any arrangement of prizes or stakes between pool members is strictly between those individuals and is not facilitated, endorsed, or managed by the Service.

4. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent rules or restrictions
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use automated systems or bots to access the Service

6. Pool Commissioner Responsibilities

If you create a pool, you become its Commissioner and are responsible for:

• Managing pool membership and settings
• Ensuring pool members understand and follow these terms
• Moderating pool activity in a fair manner
• Paying the hosting fee if your pool exceeds 5 members
• Collecting and managing any entry fees directly from pool members (the Service does not handle this)
• Resolving any disputes related to entry fees or prizes with your pool members

7. Data and Privacy

We collect minimal data necessary to provide the Service, including your email address and display name. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Match and tournament data is sourced from publicly available sports information.

8. Intellectual Property

The Golazo and TennisPools names, logos, and Service design are proprietary. Tournament names and related marks are trademarks of their respective organizers and governing bodies. Team names, player names, flags, and related imagery are used for informational and entertainment purposes only.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Accuracy of match data or scoring (though we strive for accuracy)
• Availability during peak usage periods

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Any disputes, losses, or issues arising from entry fee or prize arrangements between Pool Commissioners and members
• Non-payment or fraud related to user-to-user transactions
• Loss of data, picks, or pool information

Our total liability for hosting fee disputes shall not exceed the amount of hosting fees paid.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the account settings page.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. SMS Communications

Brand / Sender: Golazo (legal entity registration in progress)

Program: Golazo Verification SMS

Description: If you choose to receive your account verification code by text message during signup at https://www.golazo.us/signup, the Service will send you a one-time verification code (OTP) via SMS to the mobile number you provide. These messages are transactional and tied directly to a signup attempt initiated by you.

Message frequency: Up to one verification code message per signup attempt. You will not receive recurring or marketing messages from this program.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your carrier may apply to messages sent to or received from the Service. The Service does not charge a fee for SMS delivery.

Carriers:Carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Sprint, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Help: Reply HELP to any message from the Service for assistance, or email support@golazo.us.

Opt-out: You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from the Service. After replying STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and no further messages will be sent unless you opt back in.

Privacy: Phone numbers collected for SMS verification are used solely for sending the verification code and are not shared with third parties or used for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
